Bolsover Church of England Junior School

Our Parish

At Bolsover Church of England Junior School, we are more than just one building. We are also a part of our local community!

As a school, we make regular visits to our local church to celebrate Christian festivals with our friends and families, explore our community within our lessons and help our community during events such as our Harvest Festival. We also have a strong relationship with our community through holding our own events - such as sponsored activities and our Easter and Christmas Fayres with the help of our 'FROG'.   

Our Church - St Mary and St Laurence

The Church of St Mary and St Laurence is linked closely with our school and our children. Every term we have a Eucharist service from Reverend Rachel in our school and we have Collective Worship led by our Reverend also. In turn, we visit the church for many events, including Christmas and Easter services. These are always a huge success!
